COVID 19 Policy Statement

We are all in this together! At this time Veterinary services have been listed as an essential workplace by the Ontario government. We will remain available for food/medication requests as well as urgent appointments. We will do our best to keep you updated of any new information as it becomes available.

In keeping with the current recommendations of the public health agency/government, as well as guidance from our veterinary regulatory body, we are implementing the following changes:

Effective immediately, we are moving to a CLOSED DOOR policy. Our doors will be locked, however we are OPEN. We will no longer be having any clients enter the clinic building.

***If you are feeling ill, have traveled within the the last 20 days or have been in close contact with someone ill or who has traveled please inform our staff prior to coming to pick up products or for an appointment***

Food and medication orders:

We ask that all clients call to place orders for food/products/medications prior to arriving at the clinic. We are not accepting cash payments at this time. Please plan to have a credit card available in order to make payments over the phone.

At this time our supply companies have assured us that there is no concern regarding any shortages of food or meds however we have been told to expect some delays. Aim to request anything you need 5-7 days in advance.

When you arrive to pick up food or medications, please call from your vehicle. Our staff will arrange to bring the needed product, directly to your car, while avoiding direct contact.

Appointments:

When arriving at the clinic for your pet’s scheduled appointment, please call the clinic, and a team member will come out to your car to bring your companion into the animal hospital. The veterinarian will likely contact you via phone call after the physical examination to discuss any recommended procedures or treatments.

We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding at this time while we do everything within our means to keep our community safe and healthy. These precautions will help to ensure we can continue caring for our pet companions, throughout the duration of the crisis. THANK YOU!
